“Name My Daughter Freddie Freeman”: Dodgers Star’s Post Surgery Picture Ignites Hilarious Reaction From Fans

One thing is for sure—the Los Angeles Dodgers team seems to have a far-sighted eye! No, this is not just referencing the fact that they were ready to give Shohei Ohtani a whopping $700 million deal or their brilliant use of deferrals. But also, how they trusted Freddie Freeman when many thought that after his stint with the Atlanta Braves, his prime was long gone.

Because, while Shohei Ohtani was stellar in the regular season, Freeman was the one who stole all the spotlight in the off-season. Even after a broken ribcage and with a wrecked ankle, he played. Why? Because he learned very early on from his dad that always showing up is what matters the most. He just completed an ankle surgery and is now sharing his experience with his fans.

Freddie Freeman opted to go for an ankle surgery this Thursday. Freeman had injured himself on Sept 26 during his game against the San Diego Padres. He had run on a ground ball, and in the process of not getting tagged, he got hurt. This season has been a struggle for him because this wasn’t the only physical injury he had to go through. Not to mention, the emotional pain he had to go through after watching his son reach the intensive care unit is another level itself.

However, Freddie Freeman and his family are well, and now with the surgery done, Freeman is feeling great. The ankle surgery involved the removal of loose bodies and debridement, as per the information given by Dodgers Nation. After the surgery, Freeman, with his signature bright smile, posted a picture on Instagram. The caption, “Worth it for the ring,” Freeman mentioned. Given that he spent 4 hours pre-game to be able to play, it sure seems all worth it now that he has a ring to show.

Freeman continues to win fan’s heartsOne lovable fan mentioned, “I’ll name my daughter Freddie Freeman.” Well, it will be a great decision. Because Freddie himself is not just an awesome father to his children, but also a great son. This postseason, he dedicated much of his strength, resilience, and much of who he became to his dad.

A grateful fan mentioned, “Thank you for giving us a memory we will be talking about for decades 🫶.” Truly, Freeman has given the fans a season to remember. Even with an injury so grave, he went on to play and recorded four homers and 13 RBIs with a .810 OPS. He sure deserves the love!

A true blue fan mentioned, “Give this man a key to the city.” Well, I guess he already has the key; didn’t you see all that art of Freddie Freeman recently displayed? The most recent one was Freddie Freeman in a Statue of Liberty pose. That mural had gone viral and took the attention of many, including the New York Yankees, it being the state of liberty!

A caring Freeman fan said, “Prayers can’t wait to see you next season. Go Dodgers and prayers Max always.” When Max was rushed to the hospital after a sudden paralysis, the entire baseball world prayed for him. It didn’t matter which jersey one wore; the MLB was united to pray for that little one. Thankfully, prayers worked, and Max is recovering well.

A hopeful user said, “Freddie, you are a Dodger legend. Please retire with us in the future and go in as a Dodger to the Hall of Fame. The champions’ memorabilia is currently on display at Cooperstown, and one of the standout items was the Game 1 cleats of Freeman. So reaching the Hall of Fame doesn’t seem so far off for Freddie Freeman.

The ups and downs and victory of the Los Angeles Dodger star all just seem like a movie. Hopefully, the next year will be a little more bump-free for him and his family.
