CORE Stands Ready to Support Food & Beverage Service Families Affected by Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton

Brentwood, TN  (RestaurantNews.com)  CORE, a national nonprofit organization, is standing with food and beverage service families affected by the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton. For 20 years, CORE has provided financial support to families within the food and beverage service industry during times of crisis, such as medical emergencies and natural disasters. In the aftermath of these two major storms, CORE is offering vital financial relief to help families recover and rebuild.

One individual CORE has recently supported is Ashley, a single mom of three and a server from Florida whose restaurant was destroyed during Hurricane Helene. With no steady income and faced with the uncertainty of how to provide for her family, CORE stepped in with financial assistance.

“I have peace of mind until I can find another steady means of income. I will not be homeless and lose my children,” said Ashley.

With Hurricane Milton adding further devastation across the region, many more families need help. CORE continues to process applications from food and beverage service families impacted by both Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton.

“CORE remains committed to supporting food and beverage service families who have been affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.” said Jill Chapman, CORE’s Director of Corporate Partnerships. “We encourage those in need to apply for support, and we hope our efforts will bring some relief to these hardworking individuals during such trying times.”
