Kamala Harris is ‘Bad for Women’ Says Laura Ingraham

Fox News host Laura Ingraham said Vice President Kamala Harris is “bad for women” during an episode of The Ingraham Angle.

“She’s turning the page on joy and love to a new chapter, on fear and loathing,” Ingraham said on Wednesday’s show. “From now until Election Day, Kamala’s crew will spend their time and a lot of money scaring and lying to women in order to increase turnout.”

The 2024 presidential election is now less than two weeks away, and Harris, who was the first-ever female vice president, has made women’s rights a focal point of her campaign against former President Donald Trump, who has faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct, which he denies.

On the campaign trail, Harris has addressed reproductive rights and sexual violence, and has strong support from women voters, while Trump struggles with this demographic.

Ingraham labelled the campaign a “supercharged fear campaign targeting women voters,” and said it was “plain cynical.”

Ingraham included a clip of Harris speaking about reproductive rights on NBC, where the vice president referred to the “pain and tragedy” that in her view has occurred since Roe v. Wade was overturned.

“What tragedy?” Ingraham quipped.

Amber Thurman, a Georgia woman died of an abortion-relative death in 2022 and was named as the first preventable death since Roe was overturned.

“This is what the Democrat party has become? Where the right to abort one’s offspring until birth is now their central, defining, sacrosanct organizing tent?” Ingraham said.

Late term abortions are defined as abortions that take place at 21 weeks of pregnancy; the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) report that less than one percent of abortions occur at this stage. Abortions do not involve ending the life of a baby that has been born.

Ingraham said, “Harris herself is responsible for bringing the tragedy to America.”

“Economic suffering with inflation, meaning young families, young women struggle to buy homes and afford basic necessities,” she added, and criticized Harris on the border.

Over half of Americans believe that the economy is heading in the wrong direction, though inflation is easing and interest rates are going down.

“Smart and savvy women are too cool and too with it to fall for any of it,” Ingraham said.
