Rosanna Mangiarelli and Will Goodings will present the 7NEWS Adelaide 6pm weekday bulletin following Jane Doyle’s farewell from the news desk later this month.

The pair are set to take over in January 2023 after Doyle leaves the news desk on December 15 following her 33 years with the network.

With more than 25 years of experience as a presenter, producer and journalist, Rosanna has been with the Seven Network since 2004.

Her experience with Seven includes reading the news for Sunrise and 12 years presenting the ratings-winning current affairs program Today Tonight.

South Australians would be particularly familiar with Rosanna through her work as part of the No.1 weekend news bulletin team for 7NEWS Adelaide since 2020.

“South Aussies have for a long time trusted 7NEWS and have been deeply loyal. Our audience means everything to us and our honesty and commitment to SA will never fade,” she said.

She said she was particularly looking forward to sharing the role with Will, who had been presenting the Friday to Sunday 6pm news bulletins with her since he joined the Adelaide team in September.

“He’s an absolute professional and shares my passion for news. He also laughs at my jokes and puts up with my constant singing, so we’re off to a good start,” she said.

The son of 7NEWS Adelaide legend Graeme Goodings, Will has grown up around the Seven studios.

In addition to presenting 7NEWS Adelaide, Will also hosts Adelaide’s No.1 radio breakfast show on FIVEaa with David Penberthy.

“I have woken up every morning for the past nine years talking to South Australians about South Australia. It is both an honour and a privilege to extend that duty into the presenting 7NEWS,” he said.

Seven Network Director of News and Public Affairs, Craig McPherson said Rosanna and Will would continue what had been a stellar year of 7NEWS in Adelaide bringing home the news to South Australians.

“A new layer of excellence presents itself with Rosanna and Will,” he said.

“They know what they’re talking about and have a clear, natural way of telling it. South Australians will well and truly know the news with Rosanna and Will leading our team.”

Seven’s number one rated weekend bulletins on Saturday and Sunday at 6pm will remain in the very capable hands of the veteran presenter and reporter Mike Smithson when he takes over presenting duties from January 2023.
