It was during his banking activities that he met and married Shoko Suzuki, granddaughter of the founder of the eponymous manufacturer, Michio Suzuki (1887-1982). He took the surname, becoming Osamu Suzuki, then immediately joined the group created in 1909, first specializing in looms before launching into mopeds in 1952 then in 1955, with the Suzulight 360 cm3, in kei cars, these Japanese minicars, with dimensions and power set by law.
