Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe Brings Back Tuna Salad Menu Items for Lent

by News7

St. Louis, MO  (RestaurantNews.com)  Starting February 14th, Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe will add its legendary “Big Tuna” sandwich and tuna salad side to its menu franchise-wide for a limited time. The artisanal, lightly toasted sandwich has scratch made, dolphin-safe tuna salad with melted provolone, lettuce and tomato. The return of the items coincide with the celebration of Lent, when many diners seek out fish options.

There are now 30 Pickleman’s locations: find a location at Picklemans.com.

Pickleman’s founded in Columbia, Missouri in 2005, has become known across the Midwest for making many of its items from scratch giving it an artisan feel and quality. Our menu includes lightly-toasted sandwiches, really good soups, fresh salads, tavern-style pizzas and made from scratch cookies.

Pickleman’s Gourmet Cafe made news throughout 2023 when it became the very first national chain in the sandwich sector to commit to using only No Antibiotics Ever chicken and pulled pork–in order to provide clean protein options not commonly available in the QSR industry. In addition, the brand was the first known to enact a real butter only policy for its made-from-scratch chocolate chip cookies, and added healthier beverage options with Oregon Fruit lemonade and Rishi Tea & Botanicals iced tea.
