The Chicago Bulls host the Philadelphia 76ers after career milestones from Tyrese Maxey and DeMar DeRozan on Saturday night.
The season hasn’t started the way the Philadelphia 76ers were expecting after James Harden restructured his contract to show his commitment to bringing a championship to the City of Brotherly Love. Philadelphia is 2-4 and fourth in the Atlantic division after the 76ers lost their first three games of the season. There have been a few bright spots ever since with Philadelphia going 2-1 since then. Likely the Sixers’ best game so far this season was their last against the Toronto Raptors. It was a rematch after Philly dropped big to Toronto on Wednesday. The Sixers came roaring back on Friday though with a stellar performance from Tyrese Maxey.

The Sixers were without Joel Embiid but they still won 112-90 after Maxey scored a career-high 44 points. Embiid is not on the injured list today so his presence could make an even bigger difference on the road against the Chicago Bulls tonight.
The Bulls are coming off a surprising 129-124 loss against the rebuilding San Antonio Spurs. Former Spur DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points to reach 20,000 career points but Keldon Johnson also scored 33 points to get the upset. Being back home should help the Bulls get back on track to get over .500 and beat the Sixers tonight.
