Sportico released franchise valuations for the top 10 NFL teams on Tuesday, with the Cowboys being far and away No. 1 on the list with a value of $10.32 billion.

The Cowboys’ valuation represents a significant increase from Sportico’s previous estimate released in February when they were at $9.2 billion. The Golden State Warriors were the only franchise in any sport within $1 billion of Jerry Jones’ team ($8.28 billion).

Behind the Cowboys are the Los Angeles Rams, who moved up one spot among NFL franchises from the February list. Their $7.79 billion valuation is slightly ahead of the New York Giants’ $7.65 billion.

The Miami Dolphins had the biggest jump of any team in the top 10, moving up five spots to No. 7 overall. Their $6.76 billion valuation is just ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles’ ($6.75 billion) and Las Vegas Raiders’ ($6.7 billion).

Shanna McCarriston of CBS Sports noted in May that renovations to Hard Rock Stadium in 2015 and 2016, the addition of a training facility in 2021 and transformation of the parking lot into a race track around the stadium that opened in 2022 have helped to increase the Dolphins’ value.

The race track, in particular, has been used to host the F1 Miami Grand Prix since 2022. It will also be used for the Ferrari Challenge North America in May 2025.

Despite not having Dan Snyder as their owner anymore, the Washington Commanders tumbled three spots down the rankings to No. 10 overall. The team has undertaken a significant renovation process to upgrade its home stadium that could add value to the franchise in the future.

Regardless of what other NFL franchises are doing to make themselves more valuable, no one is even coming close to the Cowboys.

Whatever flaws Jerry Jones might have as a public negotiator at this point in his career, there’s no denying the Pro Football Hall of Famer does a great job of making sure the Cowboys are front and center of everything that happens in the league at all times.
