The Colorado prodigy continues to be a hot topic in the world of college football as he’s at the epitome of his success. He’s made it onto the cover of the upcoming College Football 25 game and has also been predicted to be a top-5 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft now adding on to his recent achievements, he also looks to be a talented swimmer as he left Omarion Miller in his dust.

Travis Hunter, the wide receiver and cornerback for the Colorado Buffaloes, is an exceptional player with a bright future ahead of him. Additionally, he’s being predicted to be a Heisman Trophy winner this season, more so than Shedeur Sanders, the QB for the team. But ever since an unspoken sense of rivalry has arisen between the two, Hunter has been seen hanging out more with his other Colorado teammates. But more so than hanging out, he seems to be competing against them and also beating them, while Omarion Miller provided his defense for the intense swim race.

On May 31, a clip of Travis Hunter and Omarion Miller swimming against each other was making the rounds on X. While both the players jumped into the water with an equal sense of competitiveness, Miller looked to burnout and run out of fuel midway. After which, Hunter took advantage of this and finished the race before Miller could even get his head out of the water.

Now, the wide receiver has come out with his own defense about the video and said, “Ong I won first one he got me while I was tired 😂” If true, this could very well mean that Miller almost matches Hunter’s athletic prowess, which is a good sign for the Colorado Buffaloes, as they’ll be looking to fill out the WR’s shoes if and when he declares for the NFL Draft next season.

With this year being the last season Travis, Shedeur, and Shilo play for the Colorado Buffaloes, Deion would most likely let them all start in all of the games if things go according to plan. This would mean that Miller wouldn’t be getting a lot of playing time since Hunter is still one of the best attributes of the Buffs. But with an outstanding 2023 breakout season, Miller has definitely shown that he’s got what it takes to be the next big WR.

Despite the Buffaloes’ 48-41 loss to the USC Trojans at Folsom Field, Miller displayed exceptional numbers. He set a Colorado record for most receiving yards in a game by a freshman with his 196 yards. “It’s crazy,” Miller said. “Honestly, last night I dreamed about playing like this. I just dreamed I would come out here and destroy and I did.” These were the words that Miller stood by while he reached all new heights of fame and if he continues to play as brilliantly, he could go on to becoming the face of the Colorado Buffaloes, as are Shedeur and Travis right now.
