Fernando Leon/Getty ImagesTravis Kelce is showing signs of age by his own admission, but that’s still not enough to take him off his perch as the NFL’s top tight end.

EA Sports released the tight end position ratings for Madden 25 on Thursday, with the Kansas City Chiefs star topping all players at 99 overall. George Kittle, Mark Andrews and T.J. Hockenson are among the other players in the top 10.

Here is a look at how the TE ratings played out:

Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs (99 OVR)                                   George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers (97 OVR)                                 Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens (94 OVR)                             T.J. Hockenson, Minnesota Vikings (91 OVR)                           David Njoku, Cleveland Browns (90 OVR)                                Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars (88 OVR)                                 Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions (86 OVR)                                 Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles (85 OVR)                           Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (84 OVR)                             Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears (83 OVR)        Kelce topped 90 receptions for the sixth straight season in 2023 but his 1,000-yard streak ended at seven years when he did not play in Week 17. He finished with 984 yards and five touchdowns. Assuming health, Kelce will pass Antonio Gates for the third-most receiving yards among tight ends in 2024.

Andrews is coming off an injury-plagued season that saw him set a career low with 544 receiving yards in 10 games. He returned for the Ravens’ AFC Championship Game matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs but was clearly limited.

Still, not even a season plagued with injuries can take Andrews off his standing among the game’s best tight ends.

Kittle was the only 1,000-yard receiver at the tight end spot in 2024, hauling in 65 passes for 1,020 yards and six touchdowns as part of the explosive 49ers offense.

Ascending up the rankings is Sam LaPorta, who is coming off a stellar rookie season in Detroit. LaPorta put up 86 receptions for 889 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2023.

Madden 25 will release on all major consoles August 16.
