Seattle Seahawks, 80 overall
After a 9-8 finish last season, the Seahawks come into 2024 rated in the bottom five of the NFC but have a roster of skillful players to compete with.
Quarterback Geno Smith has 89 speed to go along with 88 throw power, while he might not have the rocket arm most desire he can help keep defenses at bay with his surprising speed.
As for his weapons on offense, Smith is joined by running back Kenneth Walker III who is an 88 overall with 94 speed and 81 strength making him a tough player for opposing defense to bring down.
Through the air, he has a trio of wide receivers to frustrate opponents in Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba as well as speedy tight end Noah Fant. One of the fastest receivers in the game, Metcalf is the biggest threat on the Seahawks at 6-foot-4 with 96 speed, 94 jumping and 92 spectacular catch.
On defense, the Seahawks might not have a ton of elite players but they have a speedy secondary including the fastest cornerback in the game in 97-speed Tariq Woolen and the hardest-hitting cornerback in the game in Devon Witherspoon.
They also have a middle linebacker that is perfect to user in Jerome Baker and his 90 speed.
With the speed on offense and defense, experienced players should have no problem winning with the Seahawks on “Madden NFL 25.”
Indianapolis Colts, 82 overall
Another 9-8 team from last season, the Colts have one of the best offensive lines in the game including the second-best left guard in the game in Quenton Nelson to go with running back Jonathan Taylor who has 93 speed and 82 strength that will have no problem finding holes to run through.
Quarterback Anthony Richardson enters as a 74-overall but possesses 91 speed and 95 throw power that makes him a threat whenever he has the ball. His options through the air leave a little to be desired but wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is a big target with great hands and Josh Downs threat out of the slot.
On defense, the defensive line is their best position group with defensive tackles DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart plugging opposing running lanes.
They also have speed of the edge with defensive ends Kwity Paye and Laiatu Latu, at the linebacker position they really lack depth and have one solid option in middle linebacker Zaire Franklin who is an 82 overall with 85 speed.
The secondary is also weak but has a couple of players more than capable of getting the job done in cornerback Kenny Moore II and safety Julian Blackmon, Moore is rated 86 overall and has 91 speed while Blackmon is a 79 overall with 89 speed.
While it will be a challenge to win against higher-tier teams, more experienced users will have all the tools needed to come out victorious with the Colts.
