4-Star Athlete’s Move to Deion Sanders Over Lincoln Riley Gets Big Reaction From Julian Lewis and Christian Hudson

It’s the Deion Sanders magic at work yet again. Coach Prime’s off-field antics that make him stay in the limelight and his on-field professional work are both admirable. His team is not only playoff-eligible for this season now after their recent win against the Cincinnati Wildcats but is also turning heads for their high-end flip commits. However, this 4-star recruit has a long history of switching teams. At first, he was with Auburn, then before the start of the season, he committed to the USC Trojans, and finally, he is with the Buffs. This has put head coach Lincoln Riley in a tricky situation, and what makes the matter worse is he is getting major support from Julian Lewis and Christian Hudson.

On October 28th, Williamson’s 4-star recruit and offensive tackle, Carde Smith, took to his Instagram account to announce his recent commitment to Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffs, saying, “Up the SKOO.”🦬 It looks like the Buffs are pretty strong in their flip target game, as they took away Lincoln Riley’s recruit right under his nose. However, what took everyone’s attention was Buff’s recent commit Mainland’s 4-star DL Christian Hudson’s comment on his post saying, “Come home.” 🦬🔥 Not only Hudson but Buffs’ possible commit QB Julian Lewis also chimed in and said, “Interesting 😁”

Well, Hudson recently flipped his commitment from the UCF Knights and committed to the Buffs, saying, “They are definitely building something special up there, and I want to be a part of that.” And now Julian’s cryptic comment on the Carde Smith post can be an alarming situation for Lincoln Riley, as they might lose their five-star recruit to the Buffs again!

Deion Sanders and the Buffs are trying hard to get Julian Lewis on their team, and it seems even he is considering them for a switch. The young quarterback visited the university to watch their last game against the Cincinnati Bearcats, after which he was quite excited about the program. As Julian mentioned, his experience was “really fantastic.” USC Trojans’ head coach, Lincoln Riley, has to pull up his recruiting techniques; otherwise, the team will lose a valuable player like Julian. Sanders’ approach is doing wonders for him!

Colorado Buffs head coach Deion Sanders has always been very strategic about his recruiting approach. And not only did it do wonders for him this season but also made fans go gaga over the fact that calling high school players for the games actually means words. Moreover, Sanders has always focused on getting qualified players on the team rather than trying for every other player; quality over quantity. Putting light into his perspective, Sanders mentioned the actual thought process he carries on the recruitment process, saying, “You can’t measure us by how many we pull out of high school. Why would you pull 30 kids out of high school when 30 kids are not going to play?”

Well, that’s a fair point. Rather than depending heavily on getting a bunch of players, the team should focus more on getting valuable players who can actually add value to the team and can also get a chance to play. Because in the end, it’s your performance that makes you stand out from the crowd. Moreover, Coach Prime also doesn’t believe in visiting recruits’ high schools to gain their interest; apart from this, he prefers them to visit the university and make their decision. It looks like Coach Prime has mastered the recruiting technique; let’s see what more surprises it brings in for the team.
