Brady faced the Cowboys eight times in his career and quite enjoyed those matchups, leading his teams to a 7-1 mark. Suffice to say, Jones and the Cowboys are probably quite happy to see him now in the booth instead of out on the field.
As for his new career, Brady knows he has work to do after a somewhat choppy debut in Week 1.
“I’m not tired from the game, I’m just tired from the buildup,” he said during his Last Week series on YouTube (h/t Jared Schwartz of the New York Post). “A lot of emotional buildup, not quite knowing how things are gonna go. Certainly a lot of fun. Definitely things to clean up. So, it’s all a learning process, man. … Felt like I was doing what I should be doing. I just know it will get better.”
