Built around a 1440p and 75 Hz panel, the Philips 49B2U6900CH also outputs at 450 nits and has a dozen ports, including five video inputs.
The 49B2U6900CH is Philips’ latest ultra-wide office monitor, of which it already sells various examples. For instance, the company presented the 49B2U5900CH nearly three months ago. As far as we can tell, the 49B2U6900CH relies upon the same panel as the 49B2U5900CH, which measures 48.8-inches across and utilises VA technology.
Additionally, the 49B2U6900CH outputs at 1440p in a 32:9 aspect ratio, which corresponds with a 5,120 x 1,440-pixel native resolution. Like the 49B2U5900CH, the 49B2U6900CH also masters a 75 Hz refresh rate with a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, an 1800R curvature, 178-degree viewing angles and 450 nits peak brightness for which it is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.
